Molly Sakonchick is an eighth-generation Texan who currently resides in Austin, with her husband, Chad.
Growing up, Molly always had her nose in a book (in fact, she still does), which developed and nutured her love of stories and storytelling. At around five years old, Molly put her storytelling to the ultimate test, and she successfully convinced the pastor of her small town church that her mother kept additional children locked in the shed on thier property.
Molly carries the influence of her family close to her.
Commander Robert S. Spratt, her father, is a retired naval aviator whose courage inspired her determination and tenacity. Allowing her to go on to earn her first-degree black belts in both American Tae Kwon Do and American Karate.
Molly’s mother, Deborah, serves a primary caretaker of Molly’s brother Austin, who was diagnosed with Kleefstra syndrome at a young age. Molly’s stepfather, Andrew, is an accomplished actor and drama teacher, which has further fueled her passion for the arts.
Molly continues to train in film acting under Mona Lee Fultz, a Julliard-trained, award-winning actress and coach celebrated for her roles iniconic films such as Dazed and Confused and Boyhood. Mona's guidance at BriteLites Acting Studio is helping Molly refine her craft and develop the depth and skills needed to succeed as an actor.
Alongside her acting career, Molly is a government affairs professional, working with clients to achieve their goals at the Texas state legislature. Molly is also an entrepreneur who founded and runs her own business, Greet & Cheese, a bespoke charcuterie board company in Austin, Texas.
In the little spare time she has, she likes to dote on her houseplants, wing it in the kitchen, and play Dungeons & Dragons.
